The Freno fall arrest device has a very efficient locking system: after successive tests carried out in a laboratory approved by INMETRO with a weight of 100 kg and a fall factor of 2, it was verified in all of them that the rope slipped less than 1 cm before the device definitively locked. This result is excellent, even more so when compared to most fall arrest devices available on the market, which can slip up to 80 cm when subjected to the same test;

The brake has the option of having its shock absorber or extender sold separately as a replacement part;

The locking system (cam) uses a spring mechanism that maintains even and constant pressure on the rope, providing an optimal anchor point that is easy, quick, and error-free.

When used in rope access for climbing, the brake generates little friction and allows for easy identification of the correct equipment use.
