The person lying on the envelope stretcher can be carried by hand, by tow truck, in horizontal and vertical positions, and suspended under a helicopter.

It features shock absorption thanks to an "air cushion" provided by the VM-200.

The moldable outer transport body is made of a flexible plastic material allowing it to change from a flat semi-cylindrical to a cylindrical shape. Around the circumference of the transport body are circular openings with pressed-in protective metal rings for:

-Attach straps to carry the stretcher.
-Attach stretcher tow strap.
-Attaching, connecting and securing straps.
Longitudinal holes for inserting suspension straps for horizontal transport are cut into the front and rear parts of the transport body on opposite sides.
The maximum lifting capacity of the DS 50 rope in suspension is 500 kg.
The maximum permitted load for the stretcher is 120 kg.
