Description: One of the most popular descenders in the world, the Stop offers exceptional control and versatility, with a self-locking function that facilitates rope maneuvers.
Self-locking descender made of stainless steel, aluminum, and polyamide, designed for single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm in diameter, for use in activities such as caving, etc. Main Features: Fixed Steel Pulley: Semi-circular shape, secured by a pin embedded in the fixed plate, in the exact position where the rope is clamped. Spring-loaded Cam: Stainless steel reinforcement in the rope friction zone, providing greater durability. Cam integrated into the handle (lever) for better descent control and ease of maneuvering. Independent System: Fixed pulley and cam are integrated independently into the device's fixed plate, allowing for correct rope sliding. Self-locking System: Allows for safer rope descent. The user will be locked if they release their hand from the handle that aligns the rail and controls the brake. The control is similar to a classic safety device, using both hands to slide the rope, locking and controlling the speed by squeezing the free end of the rope with one hand and operating the handle with the other. 4mm hole in the lever: Can be used to pass a cord through, allowing the lever to be activated when away from the device. Ergonomic design: Provides grip and practical usability, allowing easy unlocking of the rope. Installation indication: Embossed design on the movable plate indicates the correct installation of the rope in the device. Spring-loaded safety latch: Allows the plate to be opened to place the device at any point on the rope, without needing to disconnect the device from the carabiner. Elongated oval hole: On the fixed plate, allowing a compatible carabiner to rotate freely, without needing to disconnect the device from the harness. Technical specifications:
Compatibility: Strings from 8.5 to 11 mm in diameter. Weight: 350 g. Certifications: CE EN 15151-1, UIAA. Operating Temperature: -40°C to +80°C.
